All the classes have been learning about school, activities, vacation
and telling time through repeating the vocab words, picture
flashcards, partner dialogues, listening to dialogues, reading in
Spanish using the textbook, singing songs, watching short videos
showing the places we are studying, as well as through completing the
workbook pages that correspond to Unit 3.
You
can ask your children: how to say their main classes in Spanish,
What sports and instruments they know in Spanish, what they like to
do or not do in their spare time and what they like to do on vacation
and why (museums, pyramid ruins, beach, mountains).
This
quarter I’ve done short quizzes and dialogues to
show me what they have learned and practiced during our class time.
I’ve also been checking workbook pages to see that they are trying
to do what we practice in class. Most times the students are able to
start their workbook pages during class so that they can ask me
questions if they are uncertain about something.
Quizlet
continues to be available for extra vocab practice. The student just
needs to look at the most recent vocab sheet to see which quizlet
goes with it. All the grades are in the middle of or just starting
Vocab 3.3.
